The Gathering 2007

As is the usual custom for the community of St. Paul's, on the Saturday following Labor Day, we gathered together to celebrate the start of another year .  Many are just back from summer activities with their families and it is time for all our church activities to begin again.  The youth of the church will again be involved in Sunday educational programs and many ministries such as the choir at the 10:30 service will resume as well.  We take this time to celebrate with fellowship, a Eucharist, and of course plenty of food!  Many thanks to all who planned, cooked, set up, led discussions and helped pick up.

O God, in the course of this busy life, give us times of refreshment and peace; and grant
that we may so use our leisure to rebuild our minds, that our spirits may be opened
to the goodness of your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen
